Green Level Design also created an indoor planting scheme for Lendlease using plants that would enhance the work place and improve air quality.

In the late 80's, NASA and the Associated Landscape Contractors of America conducted a study on how to use house plants as a means to purify air in space facilities. They discovered that certain plants filtered out common volatile organic compounds (VOC's). These plants also help to clean indoor air here on Earth and is typically more polluted than outdoor air.

Most of the plants used in the office and reception areas at Lendlease are on the NASA list. The living wall in reception is eye catching and the office screening planting scheme separates work zones without the need for walls or fixed structures.
